That Woman Called Mother (snippet)

On Saturdays you’ll find that woman called mother in the kitchen
Dancing to the smooth grooves of the Isley’s
Or singing about “A House Is Not A Home”
I’m tellin you her story through this poem
You see it wasn’t easy in the beginning
Raising a child that wasn’t her own
But like so many women called mothers
She did it with a smile on her face…
